PARCO will lease a portion of a new building (the provisionally named Shimotori GATE Project Building) to be constructed in central Kumamoto City and open a new store. PARCO will be joined by a hotel operated by Hoshino Resorts that is scheduled to open on the upper floors (3F to 11F), and together we will work to catalyze new opportunities for communication and engagement, and create a synergy effect with the existing shopping arcade and surrounding commercial facilities to create a new commercial facility appropriate for central Kumamoto.

We are planning commercial facilities on the lower floors of the building, which has hotels, innovation hubs, offices, and theaters on the upper floors. Based on the fact that 3 Nishiki, where the new commercial complex is born, is located in the center of the Sakae district, we will work to enhance the attractiveness and revitalize the Sakae district while increasing the synergistic effect with the Matsuzakaya Nagoya store, Nagoya PARCO, and others.
